Message Area Tutorial

On your Members page, you will see a" Message Board" button. Click on it and you will find yourself taken to the wonderful world of the Majestic Message Board. Here we will be discussing all manner of subjects pertaining to crystals.

How does it work? I'm glad you asked!

The 1st thing you will see on the Message Board page is a table with the following fields.....

Majestic-Quartz Message Areas
Area Id	Position	Area Name	Area Description
2	9/10	Using Quartz Laserwands	A discussion on the different techniques and styles to using Quartz Laserwand crystals

1. Area ID:- This column is just to identify the different messages.

2. Position:- The 1st number (9) indicates the last message you read. The 2nd number (10) indicates the total number of messages on the board.

3. Area Name:- the Message Area Name.

4. Area Description:- This column gives a brief description of the subject of that particular Message Board.

5. Enter:- This is the button you click on to enter the Message Area to see what has been discussed thus far!

By clicking on "Enter" you will be taken to that Message Area. You may think of it as the homepage for that particular message.

You will notice a handy Message Navigation bar above and below the Messages Table itself. Let's cover the finer points of the Navigation Bar. (See Below)

Total MSG's  10

 

1. Current MSG:- This shows the current message number you are currently reading. In the above scenario, you are reading Message #9

2.Total MSG's:- This shows the total number of messages associated with this particular Message Board.

3. MSG AREAS:- This button takes you back to the page where all Message Areas are listed.

4. NEW:- Use this button if you want to start a new Message.

5. Reply:- Use this Button when you wish to reply to the message you are currently reading.

6. Jump To:- type a message number you wish to navigate to, then click the "Jump to" button to be instantly transported to that message.

7. << :- This button skips back one message.

8. >> :- This button skips forward one message.

9. List:- This handy button lists out all the messages on this Message Board subject for your perusal. Click on the read button to view the messages you are interested in.

Now we have covered the Message Navigation bar, lets move on to the the "Reply" and "New" functions.

New MSG Function

FROM	<- For My FullName	<- For Anonymous
SUBJECT
BODY
This is where you type your MSG to the world!

At the top of the New Message, You will notice a "From" option.

<-For My Full Name:- Ticking this option, will show your name as you registered it with Majestic Quartz.

<-For Anonymous:- Ticking this option will show the message as being from "Anonymous"

Subject:- Type the title of your subject here.

Body:- This is were you type your message for others to respond to.

POST MESSAGE:- Click this when you have finished typing your message.

 

Reply to Message Function

Once you have clicked on "REPLY" you will see the body of the message you are replying to (see example)
