I asked the universe " How does it protect?" That night I dreamed about a purple crystal, I went out looking for it the next day, found it, took it home and cleansed it. That night I put it above my bed. In my state of sleep I saw the purple color and energy radiate from my Amethyst cluster. The energy saturated my aura and bodies. I understood it to be restful, healing and powerful protection. Another experience I had with Amethyst was with my sister. I was giving her a crystal layout and because of her vulnerable state at the time, I proceeded to circle her with amethyst clusters. The door bell rang and she got a fright. I quickly went to move the crystals that were on her body, but had not made a gateway through the Amethyst circle. I was literally bounced back off the force field of the Amethyst energy.
